Scope
- Development of innovative DC/DC converter technologies for varying voltage levels with advanced power semiconductor devices and new materials for magnetics design
- Enhancing system efficiency, modularity and scalability in industrial DC-grid applications
- Research on improving methods for energy flow optimization, protection and safety measures, EMI and stability investigations including subsystem interactions for advanced converter systems
Ambition
- International consortium comprising industrial partners along the value chain
- Target: ~ 10 Partners in the program
- 4 years project duration
- Universities and academic partners are eligible to participate (special contribution model applies)
- PhD students within project possible - supervised by academic partners
