MPOS

The MPOS project is aimed at increasing our understanding and demonstrating the potential of magnetic multi-pixel applications for position and orientation detection with emphasis on stray-field compensation and calibration-effort reduction in state-of-the-art MPO systems.

Project objectives:

  • Development and demonstration of high dimensional feasibility search algorithms for MPO multipixel systems
  • Development and demonstration of high dimensional quality optimization algorithms
  • Development of an inverse scheme for state computation and read-out of MPO multi-pixel systems on microcontrollers
  • Development of novel magnetic applications making use of multifunctionality approaches based on multi-pixel sensing
  • Study of unconventional novel systems, specifically the detection of leakage current and switch button position
