PowerizeD
Through the use of digitalized and intelligent electronic energy, PowerizeD seeks to improve the way energy is generated and transmitted - an important contribution to decarbonizing Europe and protecting our climate.
PowerizeD intends to enable:
- Sustainable operation of power electronic devices with at least 30 % longer lifetime
- Green energy by increasing the efficiency of power devices and systems with loss reduction up to 25 %
- Reduction of required chip size by 10-15 %
- Robust and safe operation through intelligent device control
- Reduction of development time for power electronic control systems by 50%
The consortium of the PowerizeD project consists of 61 partners from 13 countries.
