Our PhD students present at European PhD school in Gaeta

From 20 - 24 May 2019, our PhD students from the Power Electronics Division, Franz Vollmaier and Thomas Langbauer, as well as SAL scientist Christian Mentin joined the European PhD school in Gaeta, which was organized by the university of Cassino and sponsored by the ECPE (European Center for Power Electronics). The PhD school provided an interesting program and high quality lectures.

During the 20th European PhD School on 'Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Energy Control and Power Systems', which took place in the castle of Gaeta, a former military prison, our PhD students had the chance to present first drafts of their PhD work at the Poster session and get reviews from colleagues from other countries.

Furthermore, our colleague Christian Mentin held a presentation about Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) and its related research topics. During the week he presented SAL as a "great place to research" and raised awareness for SAL as an attractive employer, especially in the field of Power Electronics.
