On September 9, the SAL SATCOM FORUM 2025 in Linz brought together leading experts from industry, research and government to find answers on how to achieve Europe’s demanding goal of sovereign, highly secure and resilient broadband satellite communications.
One big topic was the importance of developing suitable user terminals that can be mass-produced in Europe.
Leveraging the network established at the forum, we will now address this issue by developing a highly efficient phased array antenna with innovative 5G-NTN technology, aiming to create a fully functional demonstrator with TRL6.
