Smart Bra

Devel­op­ment of a smart bra inte­grating printed sensor foil for tactile sensing, enabling early detec­tion of breast cancer through real-time data acqui­si­tion and AI-driven analysis.

Objectives

This project aims to enable early breast cancer detec­tion by devel­oping a smart, printed sensor foil that delivers real-time tactile sensing powered by AI-driven analysis.

The project focuses on the following core areas:

  • Printed Sensor Foil Devel­op­ment: Design and fabri­ca­tion of a flex­ible, light­weight, and biocom­pat­ible sensor matrix to detect tissue anom­alies.
  • Simu­la­tions & Model­ling: Compu­ta­tional models to opti­mize sensor place­ment, pres­sure sensi­tivity, and data inter­pre­ta­tion.
  • AI-based Data Analysis: Machine learning algo­rithms for pattern recog­ni­tion and anomaly detec­tion to enhance diag­nostic accu­racy.

Expected Results 

  • A func­tional proto­type of the smart bra with inte­grated printed sensor foil.
  • Reli­able detec­tion of abnormal tissue patterns through AI-driven analysis.
  • Opti­mized sensor posi­tioning and sensi­tivity based on compu­ta­tional models.
