This website is **largely compliant** with WCAG 2.1, Level AA. The exceptions listed below relate to individual pieces of content and are being addressed on an ongoing basis.

The automated WAVE report flags insufficient contrast for the heading (H1) in the hero section. A manual check using the WebAIM Contrast Checker found a contrast ratio of 8.1:1, which clearly meets WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast Minimum, Level AA – required: 4.5:1 for standard text). This is a false positive from the automated test; no actual barrier exists here.

**Flip cards (back side):** White text on a turquoise gradient is also flagged by the WAVE report as low contrast. A manual check using the WebAIM Contrast Checker for large text confirms compliance with WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.3 at Level AA (required: 3:1 for large text). No barrier exists here in terms of WCAG AA requirements.

Image alt text:** Not all images on subpages have been assigned alternative text (WCAG Success Criterion 1.1.1, Non-text Content). These are predominantly decorative images without informational content. Full labeling is currently being implemented.

This statement was prepared on 5 August 2026. The assessment was based on an automated scan using WAVE, supplemented by a manual review of individual contrast values using the WebAIM Contrast Checker.
