The goal of this project is to develop a flexible Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) platform that combines custom hardware and advanced signal analysis for battery monitoring and diagnostics across different system levels, from single cells to high voltage battery packs, during operation.
Current EIS solutions are typically limited to laboratory environments or single cell measurements. This project aims to overcome these limitations by developing a custom system capable of performing impedance measurements at battery pack level under operating conditions for monitoring degradation and remaining useful lifetime prediction.
Our unique SAL cooperative model is characterized by the rapid implementation of innovative ideas. With this model, we enable our customers to implement their research ideas not only quickly and unbureaucratically, but we also co-finance 50 % of the project costs. The costs are not dependent on the sector; however, they vary depending on the number of project partners.
