Your future responsibilities
- Developing new system concepts based on system level model-based design methodologies
- Research on new optimization methodologies for power electronic systems
- Building up a new team focusing on innovative solutions for power electronic systems
- Developing the team to reach scientific excellence and according to the midterm plan and project portfolio
- Development of research program and project portfolio together with division head and peers
- Creation of the necessary R&D working environment and lab infrastructure
- Budget and resource planning and controlling of research unit
Your profile
- Finalized study of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, PhD
- At least 5 years experience in developing concepts and architectures of power electronic circuit designs, modelling, simulation, build and validation of those systems
- Multi-year experience in planning and execution of research and development projects with scientific/innovative targets in the area of power electronics
- Excellent knowledge of power converter architectures and concepts
- Setting up and managing of research project together with different industrial and scientific partners

- This position is endowed with a gross annual salary of € 59,822 based on the collective agreement for research („Forschungs-Kollektivvertrag“) and depending on your experience and skills.
