Your future responsibilities

  • Developing new system concepts based on system level model-based design methodologies
  • Research on new optimization methodologies for power electronic systems
  • Building up a new team focusing on innovative solutions for power electronic systems
  • Developing the team to reach scientific excellence and according to the midterm plan and project portfolio
  • Development of research program and project portfolio together with division head and peers
  • Creation of the necessary R&D working environment and lab infrastructure
  • Budget and resource planning and controlling of research unit

Your profile

  • Finalized study of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, PhD
  • At least 5 years experience in developing concepts and architectures of power electronic circuit designs, modelling, simulation, build and validation of those systems
  • Multi-year experience in planning and execution of research and development projects with scientific/innovative targets in the area of power electronics
  • Excellent knowledge of power converter architectures and concepts
  • Setting up and managing of research project together with different industrial and scientific partners

  • Beginning of the employment: as soon as possible
  • This position is endowed with a gross annual salary of € 59,822 based on the collective agreement for research („Forschungs-Kollektivvertrag“) and depending on your experience and skills.
