About the project

This project aims at establishing all the basic building block to produce wafer-level optics assembled on a CMOS imager, encompassing the optical design, the process flow development and optimization, assembly and the optical characterization and prototype validation. The targeted device is a small-footprint camera module intended for medical applications.


  • Produce a design for the camera module lens-compound meeting the specified requirements for the targeted application and fabrication constraints
  • Develop the wafer-level process flow and fabricate the demonstrators
  • Characterize and validate the fabricated demonstrators
