Development of electrostatic automotive exhaust particle sensors for fleet emission monitoring.
IPhoNA III
Partner Call open until: December 1, 2022
Start of the project: Q1 2023
The viability of electrostatic particle sensors for measuring particle number emissions is being researched.
Analytic models and multiphysical simulations set the basis for the design of electrostatic particle sensor prototypes. The prototype sensors are then experimentally validated.
Expected Results
- Description of the electrostatic particle sensor by means of an analytical model
- Prediction of boundary conditions, which must be given, so that electrostatic particle sensors can be used as particle number measuring devices
