The goal of the project is to evaluate embedded sensors for data collection and analysis along product life cycles.

Evaluation of potentials, opportunities and challenges related to embedded sensor concepts for data generation and analysis along product life cycles.

Expected Results

  • Understanding of possible approaches to data generation and necessary sensor concepts.
  • Elaboration of performance and limitations of embedded sensor concepts
  • Higher-level system concept for the generation, communication, processing and analysis of data from embedded sensors along product life cycles
